the lot entrance was super tight, and I ended up scraping my van against the wall. Honestly, I wish I had just parked on the street instead-it would've saved me a lot of hassle and money!

I was here for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant for dinner or breakfast. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and I had a fridge, an electric kettle, and air conditioning. The hotel had great and incredible location short walk to the city centre via scooter, restaurant and the decor/artwork.

The staff were very friendly and showed us the very nice on-site in-house restaurant. The breakfast had a lot of fabulous options, and was very good;)))

I really loved the charming character of the building! The location was perfect for all the events I wanted to attend, and the staff were super helpful. The free snacks and nice soaps in the bathroom added a lovely touch, making my stay feel special. The beds were comfy, too!
On the downside, my room was quite small and noisy, especially with the restaurant music playing late into the night. It was tough getting a good night's sleep with all the foot traffic and slamming doors. it would’ve been nice to have shower caps available for those who don’t want to wet their hair.

The nearby landmarks, like the Auckland War Memorial Museum, were perfect for family bonding, while the sunny terrace offered relaxation. parking needed to be pre-booked, and the restaurant's limited hours were disappointing. Still, I would return.

We had an amazing experience at Convent. The hotel's unique architecture and good decor gave it a charming vibe, making our stay very pleasant. Our room, though cozy, was well-appointed with luxurious sheets and lovely amenities. The natural lighting and attention to detail in the design really stood out. Enjoying the breakfast at Post Service Restaurant was a treat, and the free parking made life so much easier, allowing us to explore nearby attractions effortlessly.

The room had a fantastic design, but the nearby restaurant noise made it hard to sleep.

The Convent offered a unique stay with its beautifully designed interiors. I enjoyed the balcony room, sipping coffee while taking in the clear views of the city. The stained glass lit up at night. The bed felt very comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The owner clearly put a lot of effort into restoring this place, which I appreciated. Breakfast wasn't available on Mondays, a bit of a letdown. The coffee service in the room was lacking, as we could not get fresh coffee on Sunday night. Despite these minor inconveniences, I loved the character of the hotel and would recommend it to friends.
